Our Partnership with GuildQualityLast year, we at Long Fence and Home decided to partner with GuildQuality, an innovative third party measuring customer satisfaction for homebuilders, remodelers, contractors and real estate companies. Aside from taking us paperless for our client surveys (which is awesome), GuildQuality also provides great insight on our long standing strong points, potential areas for improvement and the mindset of the clients we work with every day. We now have the luxury of measuring our client’s feedback after the job is complete and using that feedback to both award great work and tweak our systems. As we incorporated GuildQuality into our culture at Long Fence and Home, one question still remained: what were they thinking weeks ago, before they decided to work with us? In an effort to dig deeper, we reworked our survey and began asking about remodeling concerns. We’ve been asking since October and so far, the answers provide a lot of insight. It’s great to know why a client chose us and what concerns we squashed from marketing to sales and installation. A few weeks ago, we received this insightful comment from a recent window client. For this Clear Brook, VA resident, our heat mirror technology was the kicker. “The energy value of the windows [was my remodeling concern]. I couldn’t find the windows I wanted with the barrier between the panes until I met with Long. Long fence was the only one who sold the energy efficient windows that were eligible for the tax credits. Other bidders advertised their windows as energy efficient but when you read the fine print it didn’t quality for the tax credits.
